BluOr Bank introduces a new settlement option for e-merchants via Revolut

December 19, 2022

BluOr Bank expands online payment options for its clients: e-commerce merchants can now receive direct payments also from Revolut bank accounts, and buyers can pay for purchases using their current accounts at any of the five banks – Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor, or Revolut.

“Observing the growing popularity of Revolut Bank among the residents of Latvia, we believe that expanding the range of banks is important and necessary for our clients. In Latvia, buyers are increasingly choosing to pay for purchases via internet banks. As statistics show, 70-80% of all online purchases are made directly from bank accounts. Card payments are in the second place. Therefore, it is important to provide an even more convenient and extensive settlement environment both for buyers and e-commerce entrepreneurs,” notes Einārs Stavro, Head of E-Commerce Department at BluOr Bank.
“By concluding an agreement with BluOr Bank, the e-merchant can easily combine all payment methods in one solution, while the buyer chooses which option to use to pay for the purchase. When logging in to the selected online bank, the buyer only needs to confirm the payment order that has already been filled out, and the money will be credited to the e-merchant’s account immediately or the next day,” Einārs Stavro comments.

Using BankPay for payments, e-merchants do not have to enter into agreements with several banks – by means of one integration, the buyer is provided with a wide range of settlement options.
