BluOr Bank supports the creation of an informative environment for kids in Murjāņi

The Imants Ziedonis Museum in Murjāņi offers a new interactive environment for children, which has been created as part of the program dedicated to the poet’s ninetieth anniversary.

“Museums throughout the world are increasingly targeting young visitors, creating expositions that are of interest to both adults and children. Therefore, it is especially gratifying to see such projects in Latvia that allow spending meaningful time together with children,” Inga Preimane, BluOr Bank Board Member, noted at the opening of the exposition. “We are very happy to be in the same support team with the Ministry of Culture, Sigulda municipality, the company SIA “Tilts”, and to witness the wonderful implementation of the project.”

For the first time, the Imants Ziedonis Museum offers educational activities, where kids and parents can frolic and do fun tasks together with a fairy-tale character – the dog named Funs (Suns Funs). Family members can join their minds and efforts to complete five different tasks that reveal new facts about the world in which we live. The activities encourage creative thinking, boost imagination and reading skills, allowing families to enjoy their active time together in the fresh air and turning the whole museum experience into an adventure.

Imants Ziedonis considered children to be equal interlocutors. His aspiration was for children to see the world big and changing, so that they could show their point of view in it and see the laws studied in books by acting on their own.
