With the support of bank an aesthetic and explanatory recreational site was established four years ago on the right side of Lucavsala, on the shore of Daugava river, with 15 trees of different varieties planted and three original benches designed by Latvian craftsman Arturs Immermanis arranged on the lawn.
In continuing the development and landscaping of Lucavsala, Bank's employees are planting a new tree each year. This year, on June 22, the nineteenth birthday of the bank, the nineteenth tree — a beautiful and strong oak, was planted.
The Lucavsala recreational site, named after the Bank, was officially opened in June 2017. It is the gift of the charity fund founded by the Bank to the city of Riga, its residents and guests.
